Parentage Fields Registry entry

Specifies a list of fields copied from a (surrogate) Births Registration to a new Births record generated when Parentage Orders are processed.

Note: Only for use by the Tasmanian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

When Parentage Orders are processed by authorized users selecting the Process>Parentage Orders Menu option in the Births record of a child born to a surrogate mother, a new Births record is generated and certain information is transferred to it. This entry defines what that information is.

where:

column;column;...

is a semicolon separated list of fields containing information that should be copied from the original Births registration to the Births registration generated when processing a Parentage Order.

Example

This entry specifies that the Registration Number (Place/Year/Number) and the Date of Birth should be copied from the original Births registration to the Births registration generated when processing a Parentage Order:
